How To Make Pizza at Home
Hi guys!
Today we tried out making homemade pizza with pastry chef Olaolu (Ojay).
Although there are some basic procedures, there is no ironclad procedure for making any type of pizza. A bit of creativity and courage can get you there. Just combine anything you can lay your hands on and GO ALL OUT ^__^ !!!.
The recipe below serves as guidelines to making a delicious chicken-pepperoni pizza. Feel free to add more interesting ingredients to the recipe.
What we used
Equipment
- Pizza stone or baking sheet is ideal but we used a tray
- Rolling pin
- Pizza cutter
- Bowls, Knife and other cutlery
Ingredient
- Pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
- 1/2 to 1 cup of Ojay’s special tomato sauce: tomato puree, black pepper, seasoning, italian spice, mayonnaise, ketchup, tomato sauce, white sauce or other spread
- Toppings: onions, cooked sausage, saute/baked chicken, diced peppers, veggies, or any other favorite toppings
- Cheese, shredded or sliced: Mozzarella or any other favorite.
- Olive oil
Instructions
1. Heat the oven up to its highest setting. The high heat will help make a crunchier and more flavorful crust. Let the oven heat for at least half an hour before baking your pizzas. If you have a baking stone, place it in the lower-middle of your oven.
2. Roll out the dough: One pound of dough makes two 10-inch pizzas. So half is pound is ideal for one 10-inch pizza.
3. Top the pizza: Spoon a few tablespoons of sauce into the center of the pizza and use the back of a spoon to spread it out to the edges.

4. Pile on all of your toppings.
Add cheese as the final topping
5. Bake the pizza: Put the pizza in the heated oven for 10 minutes.
6. Slice and serve: Let the pizza cool slightly on a cooling rack, just until you're able to handle it. Slice it into pieces and serve.
Enjoy!
